From Hardship To A Dream
Growing up, I often lived paycheck to paycheck and wondered if I would ever build something of my own. Through those hard times, I held on to my love of making food and sharing it with people. Food gave me a way to bring people together, create happiness, and build connections. That belief became the beginning of my journey with Sun Roll.
The People Who Believed In Me
Along my journey, I was blessed to meet my mentor, Kevin Lin. He believed in me, encouraged me, and helped me see that my dreams could become real. I am also deeply grateful for my wife, who has stood beside me through every challenge. Her support and belief in me gave me strength to keep moving forward.
A Journey With Purpose
Today, owning and operating Sun Roll represents hope, hard work, perseverance, and the dream of building a life beyond poverty. I will keep working hard, serving fresh sushi, black rice rolls, poke bowls, and Burmese specialties, while giving back to the community. Thank you, Buffalo, for being part of my journey.
